Modern testing: A step toward more accurate, effective, and faster treatment of intestinal inflammation
At the Clinical and Research Center for Intestinal Inflammation, we understand that examinations can be a sensitive issue for patients. However, thanks to modern technology and the possibility of analgesia and local anesthesia, examinations for intestinal inflammation are now as gentle and painless as possible. Our entire medical team takes great care to ensure that examinations are comfortable and conducted in a discreet environment.
Our team of doctors is available not only for examinations, but also to answer any questions you may have.
Ultrasonography of the abdomen and intestines
Sonography is an examination of the abdomen and intestines with a special probe to assess the activity and extent of inflammatory changes in patients with IBD.
Single Balloon Enteroscopy
After the patient is put to sleep, an endoscopic device is introduced through the mouth, through which the doctor examines the first half of the small intestine, including pathological changes in the mucosa.
Rectoscopy
Diagnostic method for the terminal part of the colon, including the possibility of taking mucosal samples for further examination.
Pouchoscopy
A method intended for the diagnosis or treatment of diseases associated with a formed swelling.
Gastroscopy
A diagnostic and therapeutic method for the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum, using a flexible thin endoscope inserted through the mouth into the digestive tract.
Endosonography of the rectum
Ultrasound method allowing imaging of the rectal wall, sphincters and surrounding area.
Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is a medical examination of the large intestine using a flexible endoscope (colonoscope). There are several types of colonoscopy, which differ in purpose, procedure, or scope of examination.
Capsule Enteroscopy
The patient swallows a capsule that takes color images of the inside of the intestine for medical evaluation. The capsule is eliminated naturally from the body within a few days.
Anorectal Manometry
Modern 3D High Resolution manometry assesses functional disorders of the pelvic floor muscles and sphincters.
Anoscopy
Digital examination of the rectum by a proctologist with a detailed view of the anal canal and the final section of the bowel.
