I graduated in 1984 from the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague and obtained my certification in gastroenterology in 1993. Since then, I have worked at the General University Hospital in the Department of Internal Medicine. My specialty is idiopathic intestinal inflammation. Since 2007, I have been the head of the ISCARE a.s. clinic.

I am a member of the Czech Gastroenterological Society and chairman of the board of trustees of the IBD-Comfort foundation. I have published more than 250 professional articles in domestic and foreign journals. My team and I help improve the quality of life of patients with idiopathic intestinal inflammation.

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Pilsen in 2010. I passed my certification exam in gastroenterology and hepatology in 2018 at the Faculty of Medicine, Palacký University in Olomouc. After completing my studies, I joined the internal medicine department of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the Central Military Hospital in Prague. I have been working at the ISCARE Clinical and Research Center for Intestinal Inflammation in Prague since 2012. To this day, I also work at the Cell Regeneration Laboratory at the Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

I have completed postgraduate courses in Barcelona, Germany, France, and the United States. In 2022, I received an award from the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (FASGE). I am a member of domestic and European professional societies focusing on gastrointestinal endoscopy and the treatment of Crohn's disease.
